Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the communities served by Travis Credit Union, which include the following counties: Alameda, Colusa, Contra Costa, Merced, Napa, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, and Yolo. For hybrid and remote roles, candidates are still required to reside within a commutable distance of our corporate headquarters in Vacaville, California.   We are unable to sponsor or assume sponsorship of employment visas for this position. Join our dynamic and hands-on Internship Program, designed to provide students and early-career professionals with real-world experience across key areas of our organization. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and gain valuable insights into the financial services industry. Below are the internship opportunities available:

We will be hiring 7 Interns for our next Internship Cohort for July 7 - December 18, 2026!  - Social Impact Data Analytics Intern Department: Legal This internship supports Travis Credit Union's efforts to measure and strengthen its community impact, with a focus on lending, deposits, and services provided to low- and moderate-income (LMI) communities. The intern will contribute to data-driven analysis that helps inform strategy, compliance, and community development initiatives.   Payments Modernization & Transformation Intern Department: Loan Servicing This internship supports a card conversion initiative within the Loan Servicing department. The intern will assist with documenting processes, preparing for conversion activities, maintaining issue logs and trackers, and completing basic analysis related to card servicing data and workflows.   Community Relations & Marketing Intern Department: Marketing This shared internship offers hands-on experience across both Community Relations and Marketing, supporting key initiatives that advance organizational goals. The intern will assist with a variety of projects, gaining exposure to event planning, community engagement, data tracking, and financial education programs.   Accounting Intern Department: Accounting The internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in accounting operations. The intern will support key accounting functions including the accounts payable process, reconciliations, and month end reporting.   Operational Excellence Intern Department: Banking Operations The intern will collaborate with multiple teams across the Banking Operations division to conduct process mapping, analyze operational data, and assess current workflows. Through this evaluation, the intern will partner closely with department leaders to identify improvement opportunities and develop a set of actionable, data‑supported recommendations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance within each functional area.   Analytics & Insights Analyst Intern Department: Member Experience The intern will support the Business Strategy & Planning team by assisting in the development of reporting tools, dashboards, and automation workflows. Focusing on building dashboards for operational KPIs, writing and refining SQL queries to extract and transform data, supporting Python-based automation for recurring reports, and assisting with Speech Analytics, member feedback insights and sentiment tracking models.   Lending Strategy Intern Department: Lending Strategy The intern will support Lending Strategy initiatives through a project aligned with business priorities and the intern's skills and interests. With guidance and business context, the intern will help drive the project to completion, gaining exposure to lending-related topics such as pricing strategy, policy development, portfolio analytics, and performance reporting. Internship Details

  • Two Cohorts Each Year:
    • Cohort 1: January – June
    • Cohort 2: July – December
  • Now Accepting Applications for Cohort 2 (Starting July 7, 2026)
  • Specific roles and departments will be posted before April 15, 2026.
  • Qualified candidates will be contacted for the initial screening beginning April, 20, 2026.
  • Final candidate selections will be made by June 8, 2026.
  • $25/hour for 20 hours/week.  Monday – Friday between 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Tuesday 9:00 AM – 1:00 on-site is mandatory)

Who Should Apply?
  • College level Juniors, Seniors, recent grads (within 2 years), or post-grad students
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (most recent transcripts will be required for verification) 
  • Pursuing a degree related to business, communications, data and analytics, economics, finance, marketing, IT, HR, or other relevant fields
  • Able to work on-site at our Vacaville, CA headquarters with the opportunity to work hybrid for some roles.
  • You must live within a commutable distance to our corporate headquarters in Vacaville, CA.
