Are you a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse looking to start your career in nurse leadership? Then this is the opportunity for U! We have an exciting opening for a Clinical Nurse Manager in the Nuero Trauma ICU at UCLA Medical Center. Reporting to the Unit Director, this is an excellent opportunity for you to grow your leadership abilities. We're looking to you to model clinical best practices while helping to facilitate collaborative decision making and shared governance. You will establish clinical departmental goals and supervise clinical staff in order to achieve and exceed organizational objectives. You will also be responsible for collaborating with clinical educators to evaluate and develop core clinical competencies. This position involves the stewardship of human, financial, and physical resources to ensure the delivery of the highest quality care. You will enjoy a high level of autonomy while sharing 24/7 management responsibility with the Unit Director.

Salary range: $52.30-$131.90Hourly

Qualifications

+ Current California RN license required

+ Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments

+ BSN or MSN required

+ 5 years of ICU experience in an acute hospital required

+ 3 years or greater of charge RN or leadership experience as an RN required

+ BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required

+ Nursing Professional Leadership Certificate highly desirable

+ Attainment of progressive leadership positions highly desirable

+ Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis

+ Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments

Compensation Information:
$52.30 / Hourly - $131.90 / Hourly
