Certified Surgical Tech
Essential Job Duties:
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful surgical outcomes.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of surgical procedures/equipment.
- Assumes responsibility for patient care within the scope of experience and practice.
- Demonstrates knowledge of hospital policy and procedure.
- Demonstrates professional conduct and a positive attitude.
- Assumes responsibility for professional growth and development.
- Orthopedic Clinic Duties
- Weekend on call and holiday rotations
- Performs other duties as assigned.
License/Certification:
- Must have graduated from an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Must have active IN CST certification
- Must have active BLS certification
- Experience in Ortho preferred
Certified Surgical First Assist
Essential Job Duties:
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful surgical outcomes.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of surgical procedures/equipment.
- Assumes responsibility for patient care within the scope of experience and practice.
- Scrub and assist under the supervision of a surgeon.
- Demonstrates knowledge of hospital policy and procedure.
- Demonstrates professional conduct and a positive attitude.
- Assumes responsibility for professional growth and development.
- Orthopedic Clinic Duties
- Weekend on call and holiday rotations
- Performs other duties as assigned.
License/Certification:
- Must have active BLS certification
- Experience in Ortho preferred
- Graduate of an Operating Room Technician Program or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Must have graduated from an accredited surgical technology program
- Certification as an Operating Room Technician/First Assistant required.
- CST certification preferred.
- Must have active IN CFA certification
- Successful performance of on-job-training for Operating Room Technicians.
