Description

The Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas seeks a Director for the Customized Online Programs. The online graduate program offers MBA, MS, and certificate options for the mobile professional. The curriculum is highly flexible – with an emphasis on strategy and emerging technologies.

The Program Director's primary role will be to recruit and select professionals. In addition, they will mentor and advise aspiring executive leaders; oversee advertising campaigns; manage the program staff; develop program budgets; assure program quality and continuity; and evaluate curriculum and assessments.

Profile

  • Strong recruiting or sales background with 10+ years' experience
  • Clear interpersonal skills & the ability to create connections and foster relationships at the highest level
  • Superlative oral and written communication skills, including public speaking, with the ability to present to a large group
  • Developed leadership skills & ability to successfully influence decision-making in an organization
  • Entrepreneurial mindset & proven ability to lead


Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related progressive experience.

  • Ten years of recruiting or sales experience with online programs.
  • An MBA or other graduate business degree, certificate, or related credentials.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Recruiting – Identifying the target audience, developing and delivering a message that resonates with each prospective student.
  • Advertising – Establishing and implementing a multi-media advertising campaign that includes digital marketing as well as brand development and implementation.
  • Student Services – Provide premium, high-touch services to professional students and foster student growth through mentorship and advising, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Budgeting – Developing, monitoring and maintaining a non-funded program budget.
  • Alumni Relations – Connecting and maintaining relationships with and between students, alumni, and outside for continued networking, job advancement, and growth opportunities.
  • AACSB Assessment – Evaluating curriculum with the Academic Directors and ensuring that AACSB, university and school requirements are achieved. Contribute assessment information and data as requested.
  • Faculty Engagement – Collaborating with faculty and Academic Directors on delivery and ensuring that standards are set for faculty and students with regards to contact hours and student participation.

Remote Work Notice
A hybrid remote work schedule may be available (currently 1-day remote weekly). Employees must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and/or with 24-hour notice. Completion and approval of a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required upon employment, and use of personal computer, internet, and other standard equipment may be required. Remote work arrangements are subject to regular review and re-approval and may be canceled at any time.
