UVA Faculty | Cardiovascular Medicine Physician Scientist

The University of Virginia's Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, in conjunction with the Robert M. Berne Cardiovascular Research Center (CVRC) at the University of Virginia, School of Medicine, seeks a Cardiovascular Physician Scientist to join its expanding Cardiovascular Division and the CVRC. Rank and tenure status will be dependent upon qualifications.
Position Details:
- NIH-funded research program in the area of genetics, immunology, vascular biology, and/or metabolism.
- Ample startup package and laboratory space for the suitable candidate.
- Provide general, non-invasive, cardiovascular services, with an emphasis on inpatient and outpatient general cardiology.
- Engage with the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowships .
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent.
- Board certified or eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine.
