UVA Faculty | Structural Echocardiographer

Charlottesville, Virginia

The University of Virginia's Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, led by Christopher M. Kramer, MD, is a leading center in structural valve clinical procedures and research. The department is hiring a Structural Echocardiographer to provide expert, comprehensive care through the UVA Heart and Vascular Center.

Position Details:

  • Provide echocardiography services for the structural team both within and outside of the structural catheterization laboratory.
  • Participate in general, non-invasive, cardiovascular services on inpatient and outpatient general cardiology services.
  • Participate in the teaching program with cardiology fellows and medical house staff
  • Opportunities for research that is commensurate with experience and interest are available.
  • Rank and tenure status will be dependent upon qualifications.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have an MD or equivalent.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine
  • Engage with the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowships
