Responsibilities

Director of Nursing -- Home Health Care 

 

The candidate selected for this dynamic role provides overall administrative direction and coordination for the clinical operations for home health care.   This positions works collaboratively with the Director of Home Care to ensure success in meeting and exceeding agency goals in operations, human resources, and client care and provides direct oversight to the nursing staff, including hiring, training and development.


Qualifications

Qualified applicants are required to have a minimum of 7 years of experience with geriatric populations and at least 3 years of prior supervisory experience. Graduation from a school of nursing for Registered Nurses is required along with current state licensure.  All continuing education requirements must be met as required by the state where practicing.  Must possess a valid and current driver's license. Current CPR certification as approved by American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.  Current Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification is required.  Food handlers certification, where required. 

Additional requirements include:

  • Expert knowledge of Federal, State and compliance laws.  Knowledge of home health care regulations.
  • Expert knowledge of Medicare and Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) (Florida) rules and regulations to guide the Company in compliance.
  • Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and in healthcare software systems.

Pay Range

USD $101,620.38 - USD $132,118.90 /Yr.
