Position Overview:

Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a full-time 1.0 FTE Primary Care Physician Assistant to join our Quality, Documentation & Reporting Team at our Silverdale Medical Center in Silverdale, Washington. This clinical role will focus on Co-visit Care for Chronic Conditions (CC3).

The CC3 (Co-visit Care for Chronic Conditions) Clinician will work to ensure quality care for identified WPMG patients utilizing virtual encounters to address conditions and close care gaps in a patient centered manner.  Whenever possible, they will preview, update, and modify the health records in HealthConnect to optimize the chart for their encounters. The work completed by the CC3 Clinicians will be monitored through proficiency metrics and chart audits to ensure quality of documentation. CC3 Clinicians will report to the Assistant Medical Director of Documentation and Reporting.

Ideal candidates will have experience within Primary Care setting as well as telehealth and digital health—or the flexibility to incorporate virtual care into their practice.

  • These encounters are Primary Care focused and embedded within an Urgent Care encounter.
  • This position within the Urgent Care with no call or weekends required.    
  • Patient Volumes are similar to Primary Care with an average of 18 - 22 encounters per day. 
  • AI Scribing & Summarization support to cut down charting time by half.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $141,127 to $166,032 (salary will be prorated based on FTE, new hire salaries will be based on factors such as education, training and experience.)
  • Value Based Incentives: Annual bonus based on organizational goals and quality metrics

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Primary Care Experience
  • Required: Physician Assistant Degree
  • Required: NCCPA Certified (PA-C)  
  • Ability to obtain: Unrestricted Federal DEA 
  • Ability to obtain: WA State Medical License
