Position Summary: 

 

The Data Storyteller is responsible for transforming complex quantitative and qualitative data into clear, compelling, and actionable insights that support organizational learning, strategic decision making, and community impact. Grounded in principles of health equity, this role elevates the lived experiences of staff and the communities we serve by designing meaningful data narratives aligned with organizational priorities. Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary and community facing teams, the Data Storyteller ensures data is accurately interpreted, effectively communicated, and leveraged to advance equity through key initiatives such as staff engagement, training evaluation, community needs assessment and planning, CLAS self-assessment, and community engagement efforts.

The posted range represents the full hiring range. Offers will not exceed this range, the majority of candidates are placed near the midpoint based on experience and qualifications. 

Job Duties & Functions: 

 

  • Design and lead an integrated staff engagement survey strategy that drives insight, accountability, and action through pulse checks and structured action planning.
  • Build staff capacity to understand data and apply insights through effective quality improvement action planning.
  • Serve as an internal consultant to teams seeking support in data interpretation, evaluation design, and equity informed decision making.
  • Develop and implement evaluation plans for training initiatives in collaboration with the Training & Staff Development Team.
  • Analyze and report on training effectiveness in collaboration with the Training & Staff Development Coordinator.
  • Producing training evaluation reports in collaboration with the Training & Staff Development Coordinator
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify community needs, priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Partner with Quality Systems and Evaluation to integrate community and service user feedback into quality improvement efforts.
  • Design accessible data visualizations, reports, and narratives that translate findings for diverse audiences, including staff, leadership, and community partners.
  • Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.
  • Other duties as assigned 

Requirements & Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Data Analytics, Social Sciences, Sociology, Public Administration, or related field.
  • 2-3 Years experience in data analytics, public administration, or related field.

 

Work Location:  This is a hybrid opportunity open to folks residing in the Greater Denver Metro area and will require 1-2 days per week on-site and the rest of the week working remotely

Shift/Hours: This is a Monday-Friday opportunity observing standard business hours.

Physical Requirements:  Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May require lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, the telephone and other office and/or clinical equipment.
