Job Description:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required.

Work Experiences:

  • 5+ years systems/process analyst or related analytical work experience required.

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal written, verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels
  • Strong analytical skills, with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize workload in a fast paced, frequently changing environment while remaining detailed and organized
  • Ability to elicit requests from business teams and translate into functional requirements for system enhancements.
  • Strong business acumen with fluency in merchandising processes, KPI's, and retail math coupled with an understanding of how system tools are interconnected and work.
  • Maintain the customer's perspective as a driving force behind business decisions and activities
  • Ability to build and establish good interpersonal relationships with internal and external partners to support business needs.
  • Responds positively to change, embracing and using new practices or values to accomplish goals and solve problems
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Solid proficiency with MS-Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns all functional aspects of administering and managing the business systems and optimization of processes through the collaboration and partnerships with the respective business and IT teams.
  • Advocate for business teams in interactions with IT, software vendors, and consultants regarding support, maintenance, and projects.  Identify process improvements and provide viable recommendations for current and future systems. 
  • Responsible for the day-to-day support of the applications including set-up, configuration changes, maintenance of security, and communication of resolution relating to assigned systems.
  • Acts as subject matter expert representing their systems and business area in the broader context of Enterprise systems and process design to optimize business decisions and activities while reducing workload.
  • Defines and Manages foundational data and metric requirements for designated systems
  • Contribute to the design, development, and enhancements of reporting for the supporting business units
  • Work with business teams to coordinate operational processes for unplanned events and special projects to react to business.
  • Develop an understanding of merchandising concepts and system integration and makes critical business process and system design decisions to pursue timely completion of business initiatives to improve accuracy, measure improvement and/or add efficiencies to processes and systems as per business requirement.
  • Provide requirements to IT Business Architects on behalf of business teams for system projects.
  • Provide ongoing support on systems and processes for business teams.
  • Plan and manage UAT testing efforts for projects assigned.
  • Work with Training Dept to develop curriculum and/or execute end user training.
  • Develops, champions, and administers policies to govern processes related to methods and system change requests for designated business area.
  • Support user security and access role levels for designated systems.
  • Troubleshoot system related issues, escalate Help Desk tickets and Technical Support tracks
