Job Description:Education:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required
Work Experiences:
2+ years of in space planning, space optimization, visual merchandise presentation or similar experience required
Utilization experience in visual merchandising, space planning and financial planning required
Retail experience preferred

Knowledge of JDA Intactix Space platform, Oracle, SAS, Excel and PowerPoint
Responsibilities:
Support the merchandising presentation team's strategic efforts in new business growth.
Partner with the buying, planning, creative and operations teams on space analysis and floor plan prescriptives to drive sales, profit and inventory objectives.
Ensure consistent processes are in place and accurate planning and analysis data points are utilized during all phases of assortment planning for all divisions and projects.
Manage the assortment calendar for new growth businesses and specialty projects as needed.
Drive space/floor planning processes, to include planogram creation, floor planning, space optimization and merchandise presentation.
Leverage relative key planogram milestones by working proactively to course correct when required.
Develop/maintain documentation and training content for merchants and category space planners using system supported reports.
Create ad hoc reporting and analysis, as requested.
Develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures, and safety rules.
Duties may change; team member may be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior
Regular attendance required
Up to 5% travel, overnight stays as required
Ability to work flexible hours such as evening, weekends, and holidays as necessary
