Applications are invited for a full-time faculty position as a Pediatric Pulmonologist in the Department of Pediatrics in the Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center, part of the Albany Med Health System. Albany Medical Center, home to Albany Medical College, is the only academic medical center in northeastern New York.
The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology is seeking an outstanding board-certified pediatric pulmonologist to join a comprehensive clinical program dedicated toward the diagnosis and care of children and adolescents with lung disease. Board certification or eligibility in pediatric pulmonology is preferred.
The division consists of two physicians and three nurse practitioners, as well as a respiratory therapist, social worker, nurses and a dietitian. The division includes a nationally accredited cystic fibrosis research and care center, with between 90 and 100 children with CF, a specialty clinic for bronchopulmonary dysplasia, several outreach sites, and plans are in place for a technology dependent clinic. Flexible bronchoscopy is performed by the faculty of the division.
