About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Global Mechanical Program Manager to join our Asset Management team and drive the deployment of global mechanical programs across all Alcoa's regions.
Reporting into our Global Mechanical and Reliability Engineering Manager, you will focus on the execution and governance of mechanical programs including pipe wear management, global equipment and lubrication strategies ensuring alignment with broader global priorities. Your key activities and contributions will be:
Technical Leadership & Execution: Providing global coaching and facilitation to regional and site teams for key and complex operating and maintenance strategies to ensure effective program adoption.
Training & Capability Development: Supporting development of training content and facilitating programs to build mechanical engineering capabilities across regions, ensuring alignment with global processes and standards.
Governance & Compliance: Ensuring governance and compliance with global mechanical standards, processes, and best practices.
5-Year Global Equipment Development Roadmap: Developing and executing a 5-year global equipment development roadmap, ensuring alignment with RMF objectives and organizational goals.
Integration of Emerging Technologies: Support the integration of emerging technologies, including predictive maintenance tools and advanced monitoring systems, to enhance mechanical program effectiveness.
Collaboration Across Global Teams: Work closely with Global Reliability Managers (Performance & Strategy) and regional teams to align mechanical program deployment with site readiness and strategic priorities.

What you can bring to the role
Tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering.
Broad operational experience across Refining and / or Mining within a leadership capacity.
Strong background in mechanical engineering leadership and program development driving incremental improvements.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with an ability to work collaboratively, influence multiple stakeholders and deliver change effectively.
Flexibility to travel across regional and global locations and attend calls in different time zones.
