About the Role

Are you a proactive collaborator with a passion for managing complex project schedules? We are seeking an Integrated Scheduling Specialist to join our expanding team and support in enhancing our holistic mine plan ensuring that the integrated schedule runs smoothly to inform key issues and impacts to Alcoa's performance targets.

In this role, you will utilise your expertise in project scheduling by creating and coordinating our standards, documentation and communication efforts. Your ability to build relationships across all levels of the business will see you influencing a broad range of stakeholders and effectively facilitating collaborated decisions.

Your key contributions will be:

  • Coordinating and completing the integrated schedule for the whole of life cycle, collaborating with individual project teams and aligning on key interdependencies and resources.

  • Providing input for stakeholder presentations where an overall schedule view is required.

  • Developing and maintaining key visualisation processes and outputs in Power BI, highlighting project status and other key metrics.

  • Conducting scenario analysis to optimise the integrated schedule and highlighting impacts of changes.

  • Assessing risks and issues and providing solutions where applicable.

  • Ensuring stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.

What you can bring to the role

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project management, Engineering, Finance, Commerce or related field.

  • Relevant experience in project planning / scheduling along with expertise in Primavera P6 Gantt charts, Power BI and other project management tools with multiple project schedules running at once.

  • Excellent computer technical proficiency including PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint.

  • Your strong communication and presentation skills, with great attention to detail and ability to deliver on tight timeframes.
