LOCATION: Singapore

CRITERIA: Current students studying in Universities which are based in Singapore

INTERNSHIP DURATION: minimum 20 weeks full time commitment with the option of extending up to a further 12 weeks.

Intern - Advanced Interconnect Copper Pillar Robustness Characterization Methodology Development

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN:

This is an inter-disciplinary project where the intern will be exposed to mechanical characterization on the world most advanced technology, equip discipline in methodology development covering, design-of-experiment, mechanical characterization, analysis, statistical and failure analysis.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

• CuP (copper pillar) interconnects plays a critical role in semiconductor packaging .
• Enabling high density connections between different components.
• Failure such as ILD delamination occurs due to CTE mismatch, this can cause serious issue to the reliability.
• Hence, it is critical to understand and assess the quality of the CuP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to operate the machine (minimum supervision)
• Conduct CuP shear test
• Analysis skill

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

A self-driven and hard-working individual that is willing to learn. We are ideally looking for a candidate with a background in Mechanical Engineering with a strong interest in Machine Learning and Data Science/Analytics.

RELEVANT SKILLSETS:

• Proficient in mechanical testing
• Interest in design for experiment, hands-on activity.
• Proficient in Python

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Background in Mechanical Engineering
