THE ROLE:

The Account Intelligence & Markets (AIM) analyst – Data Management & Stewardship is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate Account Intelligence and Market Intelligence datasets in AMD systems of record. This role is located within the Center of Excellence - Penang and focuses on loading, stewarding, and validating AIM datasets throughout the AMD data environment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data Integration & Maintenance: Load and maintain Account Intelligence and Market Intelligence datasets within AMD's systems of record, primarily using Snowflake, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Monitor and validate the accurate flow of AIM datasets from source systems to reporting tools, including dashboards, cubes, and other analytics platforms, ensuring data integrity and timeliness.
  • Data Stewardship: Ensure new products, customers, and related data dimensions align with AMD's standardized naming conventions and master data requirements to maintain consistency across AIM datasets.
  • Documentation & SOPs: Follow and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for transactional processes. Support audits with accurate logs and documentation.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with sales, finance, and IT teams to resolve data issues and support business-critical transactions.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 2–4 years of experience in a data management or related field.
  • Experience and high level of comfort working with large, multi-dimensional datasets.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to proactively solve data workflow issues.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with Snowflake, SQL or similar large data manipulation tool preferred.
  • Experience working in a COE or global operations environment preferred.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
