THE PERSON:

AMD is seeking an exceptionally talented and high-energy Product Management and Product Marketing Manager to drive the definition of the next generation of Embedded Product solutions (Silicon, Platform, Software) for the Embedded x86 Business Unit. The individual should have proven experience in end-to-end product lifecycle management to deliver successful product definitions, product marketing, Go-To-Market, and launches. Excellent communicator and evangelizing skills with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive team results. Experienced in presenting to and influencing senior technical, business leaders, and customers.

 

THE ROLE:

You will be responsible for owning and driving the definition and delivery of the Embedded Product Roadmaps that incorporate EPYC Embedded and RYZEN Embedded products spanning a diverse range of market segments, including Automotive, Industrial, Networking and Storage. You will lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies for our AI technologies. The role will drive market share growth, continue to establish AMD as the leader of AI technology in the Embedded computing market. You will work closely with AMD engineering, Segment Marketing, and Sales to ensure that the winning solution is defined and effectively brought to market. In addition to the definition of new products you will also champion effective portfolio management, ensuring that the existing products in market remain optimized for production and managed through their planned end of life. You will lead defining product value proposition, positioning, messaging, collateral, pricing, Go-to-Market, sale enablement, customer engagement and design wins.

 

KEY RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Owner of the Embedded Hardware and Software Product Roadmaps. Accountability to ensure that products and solutions enable best in class features and are positioned to win.
  • Work alongside the segment marketing teams to deliver a compelling portfolio and value proposition that combines AMD technologies with the segment needs to achieve design win / revenue objectives.
  • Interface with AMD senior leadership and customers to champion the Embedded roadmaps.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and launch plans.
  • Create compelling marketing content, including presentations, case studies, and web content.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the AI technology and Embedded Software, including key trends
  • Drive competitive analysis and benchmarking strategies to ensure positioning of all AMD's Embedded solutions.
  • Understand SOC technologies, embedded market trends and customer needs to drive business decisions for optimal revenue and market growth.
  • Manage the portfolio to ensure products in market remain optimized for production and yields remain on target, plan for effective product end of life communication and last time buys

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven technical product management and product marketing experience in the Semiconductor market.
  • Experience of writing product MRDs, PRDs, and driving products through the product phase gate process.
  • Deep understanding of CPU/GPU/NPU (AI) and SOC architectures, Software, technologies, and market dynamics.
  • Agile and adaptable to constantly changing business requirements.
  • Experience working in a multi-site, multi-cultural environment, and ability to travel as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred
