As the memory electrical validation Lead, you will partner with and leveraging domain experts across various areas of technology development, ecosystem suppliers, product design team, functional and electrical validation teams to develop electrical validation architecture, infrastructure, methodology, plan and lead technical execution to ensure server memory high quality for customers. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Primary technical interface to product memory design team to align and influence on memory uarch
  • Define electrical validation uarch hook with memory design team 
  • Define memory validation architecture, infrastructure and plan with cross functional stakeholders
  • Define memory electrical validation methodology
  • Engage with design team on memory controller and training optimization
  • Bridge between memory functional and electrical validation
  • Lead memory vendor and ecosystem engagement
  • Engage JEDEC taskgroup activities as AMD rep
  • Drive key technical issue triage, debug and resolution
  • Customer engagement

Required Experience/Knowledge:

  • Memory expert across different memory technologies
  • Knowledge of circuit design flow and methodology
  • Knowledge of EDA tools used for analog, digital and mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Post-Si validation experience
  • Knowledge of SI/PI, package and board design

Qualifications: 

  • Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of professional experience.
