Job Role and Responsibility: Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, Inc., is hiring Field Apps Eng (Xilinx SIP) to Sell business goods or services. Work with senior team members on technical related initiatives & activities for key customers in alignment with the TSEs. Collaborate with field and factory resources to develop and deliver technical proposals to customer project managers, engineering managers, system architects and design engineers that align with customers' needs. Contribute to proposals for key programs at assigned customers. Manage technical support issues within customer base and collaborate/bring in technical specialists when required. Provide regular feedback to Xilinx management and factory experts on the needs of the customer base for consideration by marketing or product development. Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements. Contribute to the technical solution creation to show our value proposition (e.g.: hardware, software demos, example designs). Work with 3rd party ecosystem partners to support mutual beneficial custom solutions into the customer base where applicable. Monitor industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product line developments.

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.

Position requires experience in the following:
- Designing FPGAs;
- Front-End or Back-End (physical design) EDA tools;
- ASIC design tools (synthesis, simulation, equivalence checking, static timing analysis);
- C, C++, or Python;
- Embedded processor systems;
- Logic and circuit design; and
- Software verification.
Experience may be gained through graduate-level coursework, research, assistantship, or internship experience.
