THE ROLE:

SAP is a critical enterprise business application that helps an organization to perform mega business processes like quote to cash, procure to pay, hire to retire, etc. In a product manufacturing company SAP application plays a critical role in executing inter-functional business processes like procurement, Finance, supply chain, Inventory, logistics, sales and distribution.

The SAP BASIS team play a critical role in ensuring enterprise business operations are executing smoothly on the SAP application. The SAP BASIS team is responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations like health check, address SAP application and HANA DB performance issues and keep the application and DB up to date with latest software releases. Since SAP applications are not typical open-source software, they need a certain skill set to perform above said operations. In this team one will get exposure to learning SAP technology and perform the SAP administration operations.

THE PERSON:

The person should possess good English communication. The person should be willing to adapt to new situations, different work environments and willing to work with global teams. The person should be a good team player

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop applications using python and NodeJS in SAP BTP
• Perform health checks of SAP applications
• Perform day to day technical SAP application administration activities
• Perform software updates
• Analyze SAP application performance concerns.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Programming knowledge in any programming language
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Java script & Node JS

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science

LOCATION:

• Penang, MY
• Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), either in a hybrid or onsite or remote work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.
