THE ROLE:

The AMD-AECG team in on the lookout for an adaptive, self-motivated Technical Marketing Manager who is passionate about PCIe and CXL technologies to join our growing team.  As a key contributor, you will be part of a leading team that owns PCIe/CXL market analysis, field and customer technical content creation, field and customer enablement, and technical evangelism. 

 

THE PERSON:

As a Technical Marketing Manager, you will employ unwavering customer focus, critical thinking capabilities, and excellent communication skills to connect with critically important customers to understand and champion their success. You will be involved in the long-term strategy, vision, and roadmap enabling AMD-AECG's abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading PCIe and CXL technologies to market.  You will drive Vivado design and debug tool strategies that reduce time to market for PCIe and CXL designers.  You will work closely with AMD-AECG's vertical and horizontal organizations, as well as HW & SW Engineering and Architects, to drive technology innovation in IPs, SW, and platforms. 

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver field and customer technical content such as webinars, white papers, reference designs, customer/field training, conference demos
  • Connect with customers to understand key challenges and requirements and be a champion of their success
  • Partner across horizontal organizations, HW & SW Engineering, and Architects to drive technology innovation in IPs, SW, and platforms
  • Be a valued partner in the long-term strategy, vision, and roadmap for PCIe and CXL technologies

 

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Product management, Architecture, or Applications Engineering experience in CXL/CCIX/PCIe
  • PCIe ecosystem expert with working experience in CXL/CCIX protocols and standards
  • Experience with standard DDR memory systems and cache coherency
  • Experience in FPGA based IP development, high speed IO, and Serdes
  • Experience working with PCIe drivers for x86 and embedded systems
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy
  • Experience building relationships with IP partners
  • Experience with embedded systems design using ARM processors
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
