THE ROLE
As a Physical Verification Methodology Engineer, you will develop, implement, and maintain robust physical verification methodologies. You will collaborate with design teams to ensure smooth verification processes and provide support throughout the tape-out phase. This role is key to improving the efficiency and reliability of our verification flows.
THE PERSON
You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communicate effectively, and work well with distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones. You are adaptable, eager to learn, and able to provide technical guidance when required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and refine physical verification methodologies (DRC, LVS, ERC) to meet design requirements and industry standards.
- Support design teams by integrating verification methodologies into design flows.
- Assist in resolving complex verification issues and guide debugging processes.
- Collaborate with EDA tool vendors to enhance tool capabilities and address verification challenges.
- Automate verification processes through scripting and tool customization for efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare documentation and training materials for design teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in tape-out reviews and provide technical feedback to ensure successful tape-outs.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of Power Via and 3DStack concepts.
- Experience supporting design teams through successful tape-outs.
- Familiarity with layout editing tools such as Design REV and ICVWB.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience.
