THE ROLE: The AMD server business unit delivers leading server CPUs for enterprise, AI and cloud. To help drive awareness around our comprehensive, industry-leading portfolio of CPUs, AMD is looking for a dynamic and results-driven messaging strategist to join our energetic and growing team.   THE PERSON: The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing compelling messaging strategies for AMD EPYC CPUs that resonate with our target audience, align with our brand voice, and support our business objectives. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and creative teams to craft clear, consistent, and impactful messaging across various communication channels.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Messaging Development: Craft and refine messaging for campaigns, product launches, content marketing, and brand communications that are clear, engaging, and tailored to specific audience segments.
  • Target Personas: Conduct research and leverage data to understand target audiences, identify pain points, and develop messaging that speaks directly to their needs, preferences, and behaviors.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all messaging adheres to the brand's tone, voice, and positioning guidelines across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency and alignment with overall marketing and business goals.
  • Content Collaboration: Work closely with content creators, marketers, designers, and product teams to ensure messaging is accurately reflected in all assets, including advertisements, websites, social media, email marketing, and other collateral.
  • Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor messaging strategies, and market shifts to inform and enhance messaging strategies.
  • Campaign Support: Develop messaging frameworks that support high-impact campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader strategic initiatives and driving customer engagement.
  • Measurement & Optimization: Analyze the effectiveness of messaging through metrics, testing, and feedback to refine strategies and improve conversion rates, engagement, and brand perception.
  • Internal Communication: Provide guidance and training to internal teams on how to communicate effectively with external audiences and deliver consistent messaging across all channels.
  PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Proven experience in messaging strategy, content creation, or brand communication
  • Strong understanding of consumer psychology, brand positioning, and marketing trends
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and communicate complex ideas in a clear, compelling manner
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product teams
  • A strategic mindset with a focus on results and performance metrics
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms
  ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or a related field preferred
  • BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
