THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Director to lead Enterprise Market & Ecosystem Development within the Enterprise and High Performance Compute Business Group (EHBG). This individual will be responsible for driving strategies to accelerate market share growth of AMD EPYC™-powered server systems in the largest and/or fastest growing segments of the IT market. The role involves close collaboration with internal groups such as sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment and execution of enterprise market activation plans. Additionally, the role requires tight engagement with key partners in the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) ecosystem, including operating systems companies and applications providers who drive the most successful software footprints in key verticals. Attributes of a successful candidate include a deep understanding of the semiconductor industry and the ISV ecosystem, strong business acumen, and a passion for driving growth through effective sales strategies. Success in this role will be ultimately measured by market share gains of AMD EPYC™-powered server systems in the Enterprise segment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive end customer-focused sales strategies that align with AMD's overall business objectives and enhance market share.
Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, utilizing insights to inform sales strategies.
Sales Enablement: Collaborate with sales teams to develop and implement sales enablement programs that drive market share gains at enterprise customers.
Solutions Positioning: Work closely with product teams to ensure that solutions built with AMD's product offerings are effectively positioned to meet market demands and deliver business results required by enterprise customers.
Partnership Development: Foster and maintain relationships with key partners, ensuring a strong understanding of their requirements and collaborating on joint sales initiatives.
Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of sales initiatives, making data-driven decisions to optimize strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product management, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on sell-out strategies and execution.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team.
Budget Management: Oversee the budget for sell-out activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Semiconductor and Server Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience in the semiconductor industry, driving end-customer focused sales activities across geographically diverse teams. Software industry experience, as well as general management experience, a plus.
Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex technical information into compelling value propositions and end-customer focused sales strategies.
Outstanding Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and with external partners.
Partnership Expertise: Experience working with partners to deliver products and solutions that address customers' most critical business needs. Proven ability to expand partnerships and drive adoption of innovative solutions.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
