THE ROLE:
We are looking for an experienced Engineer who is familiar with test cases, test scenario for server industry with a specific focus on Firmware Validation and Testing. This position offers room for professional growth within our team.
THE PERSON:
We are seeking a seasoned Engineer to play a crucial role within the server industry, specializing in the validation and testing of Firmware.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designing and Developing Comprehensive Test Cases: Independently design and develop detailed and effective test cases based on firmware specifications and system requirements, covering various aspects such as functional testing, stress testing, and compatibility testing.
- Planning and Establishing Diverse Test Scenarios: Capable of planning complex and realistic test scenarios targeting different application scenarios and potential user behaviors to validate firmware reliability and stability.
- Executing and Analyzing Tests: Responsible for executing designed test cases and scenarios, accurately recording test results, and performing initial defect analysis and issue tracking.
- Collaborating Closely with Development Teams: Work closely with firmware development teams, hardware engineer, and others to resolve issues identified during testing and provide improvement suggestions.
- Participating in Test Environment Setup and Maintenance: Assist in building and maintaining the hardware and software environment required for firmware testing.
- Continuous Learning and Technical Advancement: Stay updated on the latest technologies and development trends in the server industry and firmware testing field, continuously improving professional skills.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Familiarity with server hardware architecture and related technologies such as BIOS, BMC, networking, etc.
- Familiarity with at least one operating system such as Linux and Windows Server.
- Good scripting language skills such as Python, Shell, etc.
- Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Strong problem analysis and solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience in firmware testing within the server industry may also be considered.
- A strong understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and software testing methodologies is highly desirable.
