Job SummaryAnord Mardix, a Flex company, are a global group that provides quality critical power solutions, manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world's largest companies.
The Business & Process Improvement Engineer will be based in Dundalk, Ireland, reporting directly to the Director – Business Excellence. The role will be key in leading the development and documentation of playbooks of systems and processes for the Critical Power Solutions Global Team. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to drive process improvements across the organization.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and deploy robust playbooks for Critical Power Solutions Systems and Processes, including ERP, MES, WMS, etc.
Serve as a facilitator to guide discussions and drive consensus among stakeholders, extending and building new resources/capabilities to incorporate into the knowledge base.
Coordinate and align business processes across multiple regions to ensure consistency and efficiency on a global scale.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business processes and improvements for Tier 1, 2, 3, etc.
Work closely with Business Excellence Managers to ensure alignment and successful execution of the CPS Strategy.
Drive a continuous improvement culture while implementing the strategic roadmap to achieve breakthrough performance in working capital, quality, delivery, cost, and growth.
Coach and facilitate activities to grow Lean Culture through Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen workshops, and Small Group Activities.
Drive and yokoten the identified Best practices based on the accord timelines.
Collaborate closely with Industrialization and Autonomation team to integrate new technologies and systems to enhance business processes and drive innovation.
Act as a delegate of the OpEx Director in day-to-day activities in EMEA.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
Typically, 7+ years of relevant experience, ideally within a manufacturing/production company
Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and degree qualified within Engineering field
Technical experience in Operational Excellence (OpEx), Industrial Engineering, Project Management, and/or ERP Systems.
Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of driving change and achieving results.
Must be able to guide direct projects based on business initiatives and customer needs.
Skills in identifying and mitigating risks associated with process changes and system implementations.
Understanding of cultural differences and the ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
Comprehends the strategic impact of the function across sites.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
