To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Master Scheduler located in Kendal, England.
Reporting to the LV Planning Team Lead, the Master Scheduler role will be part of an excellent planning team, whose members are strong communicators, ambitious & innovative. You will be responsible for working with multiple stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives and milestones in order to ensure on-time and efficient deliveries of final product.
What a typical day looks like:
Develop, maintain and integrate a series of project schedules from sales enquiry through to client project completion
Integration of available resources into the Schedule program across all disciplines reporting on potential equipment / personnel resource bottlenecks
Highlight in a timely fashion any corrective actions required to maintain project schedule & develop a mitigation plan if / when projects run behind baseline schedule
Identify critical path activities within the Master Project Plan and publish variance reports and schedules showing planned versus actual and use the critical path activities to provide a clear understanding of potential schedule risks to main stakeholders
Publish daily and weekly look-ahead schedules reporting relevant data and information across project stakeholders
Track and report production schedule changes and related documentation
Provide accurate Master Planning Schedule data to drive correct MRP action for build decisions
Undertake capacity forecasting and planning to assess ‘what if' scenarios
Help to drive the current systems forward in a more automated direction.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
Educated to a Degree Standard/CIPS/APICS or similar discipline desired
Experience within a Planning role is essential with proven experience in Process Improvement Plans
Experience in Demand Management and Business Analytics as well as proven application of various planning methodologies used across multi-disciplined projects
Previous experience with ERP/Planning Software, or equivalent and experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable
Advanced IT skills, particularly in MS Project, Excel, Word etc
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, resolve problems, meet deadlines, and handle fast paced critical work environment
Able to utilize a collaborative approach by working with Sales, Marketing, Finance, R&D and Operations
Proficient in project management controls and understand multi-function projects requiring both internal and external resources
Effective communicator on all project levels across senior and middle management with the ability to effectively present information
Willingness to travel between sites when required
