To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Team Lead - Warehouse located in Henrico.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Team Lead - Warehouse role is responsible for implementing successful operations by managing all distribution and warehouse functions. Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services, supervising staff.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

  • Complies with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts, reconciling with data storage system

  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

  • Monitors volume of business and defines appropriate work schedule.

  • Sets productivity and establishes necessary controls to ensure objectives are met.

  • Monitors condition and maintenance of operating / material handling equipment

  • Constantly monitors the efficient handling of shipments and receipts to create an error free culture.

  • Reviews the loading and unloading schedules to maximize efficiency and reduce expenses.

  • Coordinate floor cycle counts, physical inventory, and reconciling records.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Highschool diploma or an associate's degree, vocational or technical training, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 2+ years of related experience and has awareness of Flex technologies/ techniques

  • Demonstrates functional and process knowledge and participates in process.

  • Requires high level of competency related to function.

  • Demonstrates advanced technical skills and serves as a consultant in manufacturing line skills with other employees.

  • Demonstrates broad knowledge of manufacturing line techniques and may improve processes.

  • Ability to read and comprehend and interpret moderately complex instructions.

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees, and supervisors of the organization
