Established in 1984, Banner Casa Grande Medical Center is a full-service, non-profit, hospital committed to providing quality health care to the Casa Grande Valley as well as the surrounding areas in a caring and compassionate environment. In addition to providing patient care within its 141 private rooms, there is an impressive lineup of services available at Banner Casa Grande. Our team prides itself on delivering compassionate, quality care to our patients and families leading to successful, optimal outcomes using the latest procedures and state of the art equipment.

Our Women and Infant Services Unit is an all in one department. We operate as a Level II facility with 4 LDR rooms, 12 postpartum rooms, 4 triage, 4 Level II NICU beds, and 2 OR suites. We average 60-80 deliveries per month. The Women and Infant Services team is looking for a strong clinical leader to be a part of a team that supports the patient and family in their wishes for their birth experience.

As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for daily operations of this amazing unit at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center. This will include leading, directing, developing, and implementing strategies for clinical care and have budget and financial responsibilities. Additionally, this position will be responsible for developing strategies for growing business and maintaining great relationships with other leaders and physicians. This position reports to the facility CNO. Join a team oriented, supportive environment and take your nursing leadership skills to the next level. Recent WIS experience along with nursing leadership experience is highly preferred in this position.

This is a full time, salary exempt level, and incentive eligible position. The hours for the position are generally Monday through Friday (40 hrs/week) 8A-4:30P, but times will vary/flex based on the needs of the unit.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides strategic leadership and administration in the areas of patient care, education, safety and quality in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position promotes a professional practice environment and develops and maintains collegial and collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders across the institution to positively impact the business of clinical operations, nursing and patient care outcomes. These partnerships include ongoing collaboration with physician, facility and organizational leaders. Responsibilities include all aspects of clinical operations, clinician and patient/family education, customer service, patient safety, financial outcomes, and quality outcome management and regulatory compliance.

1. Provides leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of planning structures and processes designed to optimize organizational outcomes. Develops strong relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders across the organization to positively impact business, nursing and patient outcomes. Oversees the management of financial, human and material resources, to ensure alignment with organizational strategies and goals and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and policies. Creates and supports a clinical practice environment focused on nursing professional autonomy, inter-professional collaboration and innovation.

3. Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the processes and desired outcomes from clinical operations and motivates staff to perform at the highest level. Assures a measurable, outcome-focused, systematic approach to care delivery. Leads development, implementation and evaluation of evidenced based, quality clinical nursing practice consistent with current nursing research, organizational and national practice standards. Assumes a leadership role in collaborating and partnering with other health care providers, services and the community, in philanthropic and outreach activities.
