As a Data Engineer at Bartlett, you will be a key contributor in enabling data-driven decision-making processes within our organization. You will collaborate with business and technical teams across various dimensions of the data analysis pipeline to shape, optimize, and maintain our data landscape. You will leverage your proficiency in data modeling, transformation, analysis, and reporting to create, modify, and sustain robust data pipelines and reports. Applying data warehousing standards, you will design and implement data structures that enable efficient storage and retrieval of enterprise information. You will participate in expanding and improving the Savage data pipeline, including sourcing, integration, and performance optimization.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data integration jobs and models.
- Design, develop, and optimize Integration packages.
- Document SQL queries, SSIS packages, and data models for clarity and reproducibility.
- Create and maintain reporting and visualization solutions using Power BI and SSRS.
- Collaborate with business teams to design effective solutions using SQL and SSIS.
- Promote a culture of quality and shared ownership of solutions.
- Identify, document, and track work items and participate in project planning.
- Stay updated on best practices and emerging technologies related to data engineering.
- Review and debug large stored procedures optimizing performance and troubleshooting errors.

Requirements to Be Successful in This Position:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on SQL development and optimization experience.
- 2+ years of SSIS and Python experience for ETL/ELT processes.
- Proven experience in data modeling and reporting with SQL, SSRS, SSIS, and Power BI.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a focus on SQL and SSIS.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced development cycles and changing priorities.
