INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER
The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for planning the utilization of facilities, equipment, materials and personnel to improve efficiency of operations by performing the following duties:
Duties to include:
· Set up incentive areas and maintain incentive standards and standard data.
· Issue directive memos in informing all related areas to changes.
· Analyze cost comparisons and evaluate possible cost savings measures
· Set up and maintain Bill of Materials file, packing specifications, law tag information and customer SKU files.
· Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating work stations, equipment and plant lay outs.
· Confers with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.
· Develops management systems for cost analysis, financial planning, wage and salary administration, and job evaluation.
Qualifications/Skills:
· Prior experience working in a furniture manufacturing environment preferred
· Microsoft Excel, AS400, JDE software processing knowledge
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· Associate degree in a business related field preferred
· Ability to remain professional and courteous at all times
· Ability to communicate effectively with management
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
