Full Time Licensed Counselor for MAT Clinics ** Sign on bonus offered for eligible applicants and offered for a limited time.** **Details to be discussed during the interview process.** AppleGate Recoveryis anaddiction treatment program that provides medically-supervised services for adults in a variety of modalities and settings. The licensed Counselor will be responsible for offering support and assistance to patients enrolled in Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid use disorder. Utilizing evidence-based practices and a trauma-informed approach, the counselor will help patients develop individualized coping techniques and symptom management skills that enable then to experience improved quality of life. Through collaboration with doctors, nurses and a multidisciplinary team, the counselor will play a vital role in evaluating patient progress and developing an individualized plan of care. Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service at regularly scheduled intervals based on patient need, best practices and state regulations; coordinate all services throughout treatment.
- Conducts initial assessment and evaluation to determine eligibility for services.
- Complete Bio-psychosocial assessment.
- Establish individualized treatment plan with each patient and review as clinically indicated.
- Respond, as needed, to patient grievances and complaints.
- Develop aftercare and discharge plans.
- Will provide support for other clinic locations.
- Other related duties as determined by supervisor.
- License required: LPC/MHSP, LPC/MHSP Temporary, LADAC II, LCSW, LMFT, Masters level intern or working towards state licensure will be considered and desire to work with substance use disorders.
- Preferred: Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals.

- Ability to collaborate with compassionate and knowledgeable counseling team members
- Knowledge of local community drug trends, the effects on the body and cognitive functioning of drugs of abuse, signs and symptoms of narcotic overdose, psychosocial implications of addictive disease, the process of addiction and treatment, social service, economic, legal, and medical systems, HIV transmission-health, behavioral, and emotional implications of addiction
