Regional Manager - California
Ideal candidate must live in Los Angeles, CA or San Francisco, CA.
The starting salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement savings plan with company match, paid time off and other employee perks.
Mission:
To achieve results for Districts in area of responsibility; leading District Manager execution, compliance and accountability
Scope:
The Regional Manager (RM) will report to the Director of Field Operations. The RM will supervise a team of 5-7 District Managers and indirectly accountable for supervision of approx. 100 Mobile Merchandisers/District Mobile Merchandisers. The Regional Manager also directly supervises 1-2 District Operations Specialists.
Travel expectation is approximately 50% and 2-3 overnight trips a month, depending on district assignments and business needs. Expectation is 2-3 day visits with each DM in area of responsibility, every other month.
Role Expectations:
- Ensure districts in area of responsibility achieve KPI targets, compliance accountability and talent management objectives
- Direct responsibility for a strong succession plan and building bench strength for all layers within their region
- PT MM to FT MM
- MM to DMM or DOS
- DMM or DOS to DM
- DM to RM
- Ensure team under supervision has clear objectives aligned with business outcomes, receives consistent feedback against objectives, and receives appropriate consequences (+/-) based on their performance
- Achieve cost and profit targets for Districts within area of responsibility, ensuring contribution to Region and NA targets
- Lead District Operation Specialist(s) under direct supervision to ensure achievement of position KPIs and consistent execution of role across all North America
- Leverage DM Visits to evaluate leadership opportunities and drive accountability of DM workforce management and team execution
- Execute all requirements related to open DM territory including selection, on-boarding, and training
- Prepare and present market results quarterly to Ops leadership highlighting areas of focus and S.M.A.R.T. pans to move business forward
- Demonstrate full compliance accountability for area of responsibility by being educated on local/state updates legal, attending applicable trainings, informing leadership of areas or potential risk
- Build and maintain strong peer-level partner (District/Region/Market leader) relationships, understanding external market/partner factors across all partner channels
- Lead execution of various projects and support assignments; examples include:
- Consolidation of MM Territories
- All-NA Compliance Focus

- Sales Force Key User
- VM Field Resource
- Other projects, as business dictates
Critical Experience:
- Demonstrated experience managing a remote District team to achieve business KPIs
- Experience in a retail service, consumer goods or merchandising industry, including manufacturing and customer-facing background
- Demonstrated experience leading managers of large, remote workforce
- Experience working in a high-travel role
- Demonstrated capability and experience leading others through significant change

- Execute a scalable workforce recruitment/succession plan for territory's district manager position,
