About the position:

  • The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is seeking a part time or full time, AP or AP/CP board certified anatomic pathologist with subspecialty training and experience in gynecologic pathology. You will join a team of twelve surgical pathologists with a wide range of subspecialty expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Gynecologic pathology responsibilities include sign-out of a wide range of neoplastic and non-neoplastic gyn biopsies, and participating in frozen section and intraoperative consultation for specialized gyn oncology procedures. Interest in participation in general surgical pathology services is desired.

  • The department provides subspecialty expertise in breast pathology, GI pathology, medical liver and renal pathology, dermatopathology, gynecologic pathology, cytopathology, neuropathology, transplant pathology, and hematopathology, among others. The anatomic pathology division processes over 37,000 surgical specimens annually and provides consultative services to other hospitals within the Beth Israel Lahey Health System.
