IX Editor III
As an experienced IX Editor, you will play a pivotal role in driving editorial strategy, ensuring high-quality content development, and maintaining strict compliance with editorial standards and style guidelines. In this position, you will lead efforts to streamline editorial workflows, optimize content for readability and engagement, and mentor junior editors. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content strategies with business goals and contribute to innovative projects that enhance the user experience.

- Lead editorial reviews, ensuring clarity, coherence, and adherence to style guides.
- Mentor junior editors and writers, providing constructive feedback to support professional development.
- Drive compliance and governance initiatives to maintain consistent content quality across documentation.
- Improve editorial workflows, integrating new tools and processes to enhance efficiency and content delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical writers, product managers, SMEs) to align content strategies with business objectives.
- Oversee major editorial projects, ensuring successful outcomes and timely delivery.
- Support content innovation projects, translating new ideas into practical editorial solutions.
- Conduct regular audits of content, ensuring editorial consistency and audience relevance.
- Lead content optimization and enhancement initiatives to improve readability, accessibility, and user engagement.
To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- 6+ years of experience in technical writing or content editing with a strong editorial background, preferably in the technology or software industry.
- Proven ability to mentor and lead teams, providing editorial guidance to junior staff while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of content governance and compliance standards, with experience enforcing style guides and ensuring content quality.
- Familiarity with content optimization techniques, including SEO and readability improvement strategies.
- Proficiency with editorial tools and platforms such as Confluence, Grammarly, and other content management systems (CMS).
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with various teams to meet project goals.
