Description

Bob's is seeking a proficient eCommerce professional to join our team as a Senior eCommerce QA Specialist. In this role, the main focus will be collaborating with the eCommerce QA team to conduct User Acceptance Testing, ensuring the effectiveness and usability of MyBobs.com, Bob's Mobile App, 3D Room Designer, and other associated systems and interfaces with the ultimate aim of boosting online sales. The Senior eCommerce QA Specialist will need to possess the skills and expertise to methodically test functionality throughout the development process, always prioritizing user experience and adhering to industry best practices. This individual will also provide guidance and support to team members and take the lead in cross-functional endeavors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform User Acceptance Testing of the functional requirements on our eCommerce site, Mobile App, and 3D Room Designer, across multiple operating systems, browsers, and devices.
  • Work with the eCommerce QA Manager and QA Specialists to ensure the quality of delivered website builds.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate on analyzing new requirements, and developing new UAT test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Proactively identify and track defects by entering tickets for developers.
  • Outline and analyze potential issues by identifying fringe use cases and gaps in the testing processes.
  • Prepare, plan, and conduct site audits and report on findings.
  • Concurrently with testing, analyze site, Mobile App, and 3D Room Designer for quality and assist in defining and developing enhancements to the user experience.
  • Perform user acceptance testing after the A/B tests and other marketing pixel implementation.
  • Perform UAT for company-wide initiatives led by other departments like ECC, CX and CRM.
  • Take full ownership and lead UAT of some projects and initiatives depending on the scale of testing e.g. Mobile App, ADA Compliance, Emails.
  • Assist eCommerce QA manager in building UAT test plan strategy.
  • Assist eCommerce QA manager in coordinating User acceptance testing with the business and other stakeholders.
  • Report test results and metrics to the eCommerce QA Manager.
  • Conduct site analysis leveraging Web Analytics & Attribution platforms.
  • Conduct competitive analysis focusing on improvements and enhancements to the user experience.
  • Lead team meetings in manager's absence.
  • Train, coordinate, and lead eCommerce QA Specialists as required.
  • Prioritize and delegate work for eCommerce QA Specialists, providing constructive feedback and guidance.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in a retail e-Commerce environment
  • Knowledge of agile software development and its lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of defect resolution procedures and processes in scrum methodology
  • Experience in client-side user acceptance, smoke, and regression test case preparation and execution
  • Previous experience and knowledge of eCommerce platforms preferably Hybris
  • Experience with defect tracking platforms like JIRA, Asana, Panaya, etc.
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical.
  • Understanding of User Acceptance Testing best practices.
  • Have an eye for user-centric design and user experience.
  • Knowledge of web browser-specific functionalities and features.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and actively with development, content, marketing & operations teams.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, and multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to coordinate and lead a team of individuals.


Preferred Knowledge and Experience

  • Previous experience with System Integration, Unit or Functional Testing.
  • Previous experience working in furniture domain.
  • Previous experience with usability testing.
  • Previous experience with the Google Analytics platform.
  • Selenium or Tosca Automation Testing Experience.
  • Knowledge of API Testing using Postman.

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday. 8:30 to 5:00 PM except for occasional early morning work hours to support UAT for website updates.

Work Location: Manchester, CT. Temporarily Remote

Expected Base Pay Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc. Opportunities:

$90,000 -$100,000
