Global Process Engineer – Global Shared Services

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Global Process Engineer – Global Shared Services

The Global Process Engineer, reporting to the Director of Global Process for Global Shared Services, will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient business processes to support the overall operation of the company and drive multiple projects across global shared services. This role will involve analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing new systems and procedures to streamline operations and increase productivity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Director of Global Process and center process managers to drive various projects that are identified and prioritized to improve service, increase capacity/productivity, reduce error rates, drive incremental savings, and improve controls

  • Support root cause analysis for process performance issues and develop remediation plans through process mapping and gap identification

  • Support Global process leads drive unified standards, policy compliance, and uncover variability across the global Brinks organization

  • Support the implementation of new processes or software/technologies

  • Design and implement new systems and procedures to streamline operations

  • Support ERP and other strategic or global systems initiatives across the company

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth integration of new processes, leading change management activities, including communication and training activities

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of new processes

  • Continuously improve existing processes to increase efficiency and productivity

  • Develop process maps and swim lane documentation as needed

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the implementation of process improvements

  • Monitor and report on the performance of process improvements, including metrics such as cost savings, efficiency gains, improved controls, and customer satisfaction

  • Promote best practices across the organization

  • Support acquisition integration to help migrate and shift processes to Global Shared Services

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration / Engineering or equivalent required

  • Two to five years of experience in hands-on Finance and Accounting or in a Global Shared Service center

  • Significant experience and use of relevant systems and technology

  • Strong project management experience

  • Experience with process mapping and process redesign tools

  • Strong analytical skills, collecting and analyzing data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusions

  • Strong consultative and problem-solving skills

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with track record of superior customer service

  • Excellent verbal and written communications, including active listening skills, verbal presentation skills and skills in presenting findings and recommendations

  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean is a plus.

Ability to:

  • Leverage best in class procure to pay, record to report, or quote to cash practices to inform process design or experience supporting process design in these areas

  • Drive change across various stakeholder groups

  • Stay organized and communicate progress on projects

  • Develop and communicate performance for respective process area

  • Analyze, problem solve, and drive decision-making

  • Build effective internal customer relationships

  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management

  • Deliver measurable impact through process standardization and optimization

  • Design and develop process maps and procedures

  • Work under pressure and manage multiple projects at once across various functions

  • Support audit and SOX compliance activities (as needed)

  • Maintain positive relationships with end users and other internal constituents
