We are looking for a Sourcing Center of Excellence Analyst.

The Sourcing Center of excellence (SSCOE) is a high-performance team that works on initiatives that enhance the Global Sourcing function's impact on business outcomes in various ways including:

  • Deploying and maintaining Sourcing technologies

  • Managing Governance protocol including performance reporting, management and policy

  • Providing analytical support, developing and disseminating actionable insights

  • Creating process documentations, training and related content

  • Driving process improvements, innovation and strategy creation/ deployment

The work undertaken by the team can scale from tactical to strategic and have a mix of recurring and ad-hoc initiatives.

Job responsibilities would include:

  • Deploy, maintain, improve, drive adoption and serve as systems administrator for existing Sourcing technologies.

  • Maintenance tasks relating to the technology would include conducting timely refreshes on Spend Analytics system, Performance Management dashboards and updates on Source-to-Contract System.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for various Sourcing technologies and processes. Initial training on current systems such as Source to Contract and Spend Analytics systems will be provided.

  • Deliver training to Sourcing team and other functions as applicable and develop Process Documentation and Guides.

  • Develop and upkeep a Global Sourcing Intranet Site to enable improved collaboration and knowledge retention and content sharing.

  • Support functional transformation plans based on gap analysis between current state and desired future state – this could include improving and standardizing core Sourcing methodologies, processes, technology and toolkits  in various areas– negotiation, contracting, managing RFx, savings reporting, supplier segmentation & performance management, cost modelling etc.

  • Drive accountability to functional and business goals such as savings, working capital improvements. This could include preparing analytics, supporting and leading meetings to review results, insights, action plans and corrective measures.

  • Monitor and support core sourcing processes – e.g. development of a multi-year Project pipeline building process.

  • Develop and share insights leveraging various data sources – example, spend data, contract information, rate cards, external benchmarks etc.

  • Perform and support audits on key processes such as Savings validation, Contract Loading

  • Support quantification of savings on various types of Sourcing Projects.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- MS/BBA degree in Business and/or Operations/Supply Chain Management
- Working knowledge of sourcing/ procurement, supply chain

- 5+ years relevant experience (in Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain Management Preferred).

-Experience with implementing and/or using Sourcing technology – Spend Analytics, Source to Contract systems (RFP, Contracting, Supplier Relationship Management) and Purchasing systems a plus.

- Expert ability with MS Office applications – particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Foreign languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese) a plus
- MBA or an advanced degree in supply chain or business management a plus
- APICS or CPIM certification a plus
- Experience using BI and data visualization tools (Tableau, Cognos etc.) and Alteryx or similar tools a plus

-Practical experience leveraging Lean or similar tools to make process improvements a plus (A3, Fishbone, Process Mapping, Value Stream Maps)-Project Management Experience a plus

-Ability to travel periodically
