Centra Medical Group, located in beautiful Lynchburg, VA, has an opportunity available for a Nurse Practitioner to work with our Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Management team.
This is a full-time, benefited role, where typical responsibilities will include follow-up appointments, ordering labs and x-rays, screenings for procedures, and minor office procedures such as trigger points and joint injections.

Required Qualifications
Our ideal candidate is a Nurse Practitioner with experience managing patients with chronic back, joint and neck pain, fibromyalgia and other chronic pain. Our center seeks an empathetic individual who can mentor patients through their health journey and at times deliver hard news eloquently. This person will work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to provide care and to work with our system/community partners to ensure patient transition to the appropriate care model. This position is instrumental in the continued development of community services that bridge chronic pain and addiction services in our system and community. Support services are available from CMG Addiction Treatment Center.

Enhancements will include a split flow model of care to expedite and enhance patient experience of care, an integrated EmPATH psychiatric patient space, super track/imaging/results lounge and improved connectivity and utilization of the ED observation unit.
