Job Purpose
As a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Administrator, you will serve as the applications owner for the HR/Payroll system (currently ADP Vantage) and related systems, and is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and updating the HRIS systems as needed to ensure an efficient and accurate production environment for our customers. This individual will play a leading role in the team's objectives of maximizing the effectiveness of HR/Payroll applications to achieve strategic business objectives. The HRIS Administrator will troubleshoot issues within and between systems, identify root cause of errors, partner with vendors & internal departments to resolve issues, and develop solutions for new business requirements, while continuously identifying and implementing process improvements.
How You Will Impact Education
Instruction/Education Responsibilities
- Collaborates with HR Team to evaluate system needs and design new or modify the system to meet changing business requirements.
- Reviews the architecture of the current system and works with business and technical staff to recommend solutions that result in more effective systems
- Reviews new technology and processes to determine feasibility with existing systems; prepares data flow diagrams and process flow analyses for current and new automation to ensure maximum system utilization.
- Coordinates with vendors, internal technical staff, management, and system users for the development of documentation and implementation of training and procedures for new systems and programs.
- Leads and/or participates in design discussions to define user requirements and translate them to solutions, advises users on best practices and cross functional dependencies
- Analyzes data flow, processes, and configurations to recommend enhancements that will increase quality and efficiency.
- Provides troubleshooting support to employees and HR users in completing transactions and modifying back-end configurations.
- Supports the deployment and testing of configuration changes.
- Manage projects such as complex enterprise application upgrades, and configurations.
- Performs general data migration and ETL functions as needed.
- Conducts system audits, as well as deliver accurate reports and data analysis.
- Coordinates with relevant groups to ensure proper access controls, security settings, permissions, and data security are in place to protect staff and the company.
- Aids in the process of maintaining and improving data quality and accuracy.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience
- PHR/SPHR/SHRM certifications a plus
- Experience in talent analytics, BI tools, and other technologies in HR field
- Experience in designing, modifying, and creating business processes that will be used to implement technology solutions and roadmaps
- 2+ years of administrator or superuser role in ADP (Vantage) similar systems
- 1-2 years of administration of enrollment management systems and/or processes
- Strong understanding of general HR compliance needs
- Experience in database/application connectivity preferred
- May require travel both inside and outside of state
- May require occasional weekend or evening travel
- May perform other duties assigned.
