CLIENT MANAGER SENIOR- PREFERRED BANKING WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Responsible for contributing to overall Preferred Banking sales efforts, maintaining first-in class service levels for their clients, and all aspects of operational integrity. Is secondary point of contact and service provider for existing and newly developed relationships. Retains and grows client relationships through high touch service, while partnering with Preferred Relationship Managers to support ongoing client meetings, servicing needs, and expectation management. Provides day-to-day colleague management for Preferred Banking Relationship Manager(s) and may relieve the Preferred Banking Relationship Manager(s) from performing clerical, administrative, and most operations responsibilities and overall administrative duties. Partners with the Preferred Banking Relationship Manager(s) in business development and relationship management activities. Provide expertise in risk management and loss prevention policies and procedures and are responsible for monitoring and auditing their respective offices for compliance with these policies and procedures. Ensure regulatory compliance and colleague adherence to CNB policies and procedures are being met. Must be in good standing under "The Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008" (5afe Act) and must be registered/licensed with the "Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry"; or must be able to be registered under the Safe Act. Must remain in good standing under the Safe Act. WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Support Preferred Banker in all areas of new business development by coordinating colleagues and resources, ensuring tailored materials are created, and meeting with prospective clients jointly.
- Partner with Preferred Banking in profiling across the full spectrum of the needs of personal and business integration target segments. Utilize planning capabilities and proactively offer customized solutions to all clients.
- Manage client relationships to maximize client retention and grow the business in compliance with the goals and objectives of the clients.
- Participate with CNB team on sales calls. Help Banker facilitate pre-brief and de-brief meetings.
- Assume primary responsibility for on-boarding new clients or expanding current clients with new investment management and trust, new loan facilities, new deposits, and all other solutions. Lead coordination with all partners to ensure a smooth and seamless on-boarding process. May assist in completing KYCs for new clients/entities/loans.
- Manage relationships with the Preferred Banker and client team in planning, delivery and regular review with clients including the obtaining of information to complete the 360 reviews.
- Ensures products and sales/services training is completed to provide clients with appropriate solutions.
- This job is responsible for providing diverse and confidential administrative support, including extensive calendar management
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of account trends by reviewing various reports on a daily basis.
- Ensure early identification and proper escalation of potential risk to appropriate level of authority.
- May train and assist other employees
- Responsible for the operational integrity of Preferred Banking. Is the expert in risk management and loss prevention. Completes, monitors and audits, PBRM certifications and operational reviews. Ensures regulatory compliance and effectively communicates and implements changes to policy and procedure.

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years' experience in client service, banking operations or banking relationship management support required.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a banking or financial services environment required
- Minimum 8 years of experience with bank products and services (e.g. deposits, wealth management, cash management, international, etc.) required.
- Excellent risk management knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively interact with clients and bank colleagues at all levels.
- Solid knowledge of all phases of operations (e.g., installment loans, new accounts, loan payments, statement handling, wires).
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong technological aptitude

- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Pleasant and professional demeanor at all times with great attention to detail
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $71,869 - $114,797 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
