INVESTMENT ASSOCIATE

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

This position is responsible for supporting the trust investment team across RBC Trust Delaware and City National Trust. The individual will work closely with the investment team and trust administration to provide oversight on client investment portfolios. Additionally, the role will be responsible for trading, account maintenance, monthly reporting, and communications with internal and external partners.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Assist with oversight and monitoring of investment portfolios where RBC Trust Delaware and City National Trust serve in a corporate trustee capacity.
• Assist with monthly investment reviews.
• Ad-hoc reporting, as needed
• Communication with external financial advisors
• Account maintenance and project support
• Discovering ways to make the department's processes more efficient
• Trading and rebalancing internally-managed portfolios
• Quarterly preparation of performance summaries for internally managed portfolios

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Required Qualifications*

• H.S. Diploma
• 2+ years experience in trust or investments
• 2+ years experience with Word & Excel

Additional Qualifications

• Familiarity with SEI trust platforms helpful
• Experience with various trading systems helpful
• Detail-orientated, and strong organizational skills
• Able to independently manage multiple demands and competing priorities
• Able to work efficiently in a deadline-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability
• Knowledge of investments and familiarity with industry terms
• Bachelor's Degree

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $25.72 - $41.08 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
