US RESIDENTIAL MORTGAGE PORTFOLIO ANALYTICS MANAGER


WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Responsible for supporting analytics and reporting of the US Mortgage residential lending portfolio. Develop a detailed understanding of the portfolio and provide senior level consultation to increase understanding. Work in consultation with the business and partner groups, to elevate the knowledge of key business drivers and how they impact results. Team player that can drive key initiatives and department strategies both independently and collaboratively. This role has broad responsibility and provides senior level consultation to Mortgage Leadership.


WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Develop a deep understanding of the US residential mortgage portfolio and provide senior level guidance, analytics, consultation, and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration with credit risk and treasury to provide business insights and support, building a strong bridge between the groups.
  • Analyze the portfolio to identify areas where risks may develop and how portfolio concentrations are changing over time.
  • Develop early warning systems to flag potential risks and provide mitigation strategies.
  • Ongoing optimization analysis of the portfolio to maximize results.
  • Understand how the competitive environment, market forces and industry dynamics impact the business.
  • Surveillance of portfolio risks utilizing stochastic and deterministic based modeling
  • Provide additional support to the pricing, product, and portfolio team on initiatives, with a focus on portfolio analytics and profitability.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Required Qualifications*

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 15 years of mortgage industry experience
  • Minimum 10 years of portfolio or mortgage analytics experience


Additional Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of Residential Lending Portfolio performance drivers
  • Strong understanding of banking and lending processes and routines
  • Good communicator with strong presentation skills and a superior ability to synthesize and articulate key aspects of the business to drive results.
  • Strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Compensation
Starting base salary: $127,626- $237,014 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
