Either way - we are looking for people across all our rich diversity to perform field and laboratory quality assurance testing on soil, aggregates, asphalt and cement concrete products for City of Edmonton construction projects. What will you do?

• Sample and test asphalt, soils, concrete, gravel and other related materials according to appropriate ASTM, AASHTO, CSA or other standards
• Perform inspections of asphalt and concrete plants that are producing materials for use on City of Edmonton construction projects
• Perform field coring on asphalt mixes for thickness and compaction determination
• Complete preventative maintenance on lab and field equipment and ensure all equipment is properly maintained to ensure it is in good and safe working order
• Operate field and laboratory test equipment
• Record test results and prepare standard test reports
• Perform all duties in accordance with provincial and municipal Occupational Health & Safety regulations
• Conduct work in a manner that complies with the requirements set out in the City's Environmental Management System (EMS)
• Other related duties as required
