Description

Are you passionate about serving your community, ensuring public safety, and protecting the park system and its assets? We are looking for a key team member to join our coordinated approach to encampment response. • Investigate complaints related to municipal bylaws and provincial acts, including the Public Spaces Bylaw, Traffic Bylaw, Trespass to Premises Act & the Gaming, Liquor, & Cannabis Act as examples
  • Engage individuals, educate the public, encourage compliance and enforce where necessary
  • Apply appropriate enforcement actions, which may include issuing warnings and tickets, laying charges, and giving orders when necessary
  • Offer support and outreach to vulnerable individuals, connecting them with social services
  • Gather evidence, prepare detailed reports for court, and provide clear, professional testimony in legal proceedings
  • Collaborate effectively with the Edmonton Police Service, Edmonton Fire Rescue Services, and other internal and external collaborators
  • Other duties as assigned
