Colorado Permanente Medical Group is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine Sports Medicine fellowship-trained physician to join our orthopedic department. This role offers a dynamic mix of acute and routine clinical care, with a strong focus on patient-centered, evidence-based medicine.

This is a part time position at a .90 FTE

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide care for a diverse patient population, primarily adults with some pediatric and younger patients in acute clinic settings.
  • Diagnose and treat acute injuries and diseases, including fractures, infections, lacerations, and tendon/ligament injuries.
  • Manage routine clinic cases, focusing on knee, shoulder, and hip problems, mostly related to overuse and degenerative conditions.
  • Perform ultrasound-guided procedures, joint injections, and fracture management.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including MAs, LPNs, and assigned RNs.
  • Maintain high standards of documentation using Epic-based electronic medical records.
  • Participate in team-based care and contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and collegial work environment.

Schedule & Workload

  • 0.9 FTE with ten hour shifts
  • No on-call duties
  • 20 patients per day

Qualifications

  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
  • Completion of a Sports Medicine fellowship
  • Experience in acute and routine musculoskeletal care
  • Proficiency in ultrasound, injections, and fracture management
  • Commitment to culturally responsive care and addressing healthcare disparities
