Behavior Support Aide
Position Summary: We are URGENTLY hiring passionate and responsible Behavior Support Aides (which includes anyone who has had previous experience as a: behavior technician, behavior therapist, aba therapist, behavior interventionist, behavior coach, behavior assistant, behavior support specialist, behavior consultant, SPED aide, special education aide) to join our team at our Pasadena, CA office! The ideal candidate will be dedicated to the well-being and development of children, ensuring their safety, and promoting their social, emotional, and behavioral growth.   Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour   Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or higher degree
  • Previous experience in childcare, special education, or a related field is preferred
  • Must be open to school and home cases in order to build a full-time schedule
  • Able to commute up to 5-10 miles or 30-45 minutes 
  • Experience with severe cases required for 2:1 caseloads
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion to work with children!
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus

  Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Create and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs that stimulate children's physical, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive development.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children as needed.
  • Potential need to change diapers or assist with toilet training along with maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's daily routines, health, and milestones.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless childcare experience.
