Specialty Pharmacy Liaison Technician - Full Time

As a full-time, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Specialty Pharmacy Liaison Technician, you will provide customer service and expertise to patients, providers and team members regarding specialty pharmacy enrollment, prescription processing, benefits inquiries, prescription status inquiries, and any other question as it pertains to their account. This includes communicating with the clinic staff to obtain the number of patients scheduled for appointments, determining their insurance coverage by accessing the electronic medical record (EMR) greeting the patients and providing verbal and written information about the specialty pharmacy program. Working in the pharmacy as needed will also be a requirement for this position. The Specialty Pharmacy Liaison Technician works under the direct supervision of the Director of Specialty Pharmacy.
Schedule: This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8:00AMto 5:00PM.
Starting Pay: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience.
About the Facility: Jennie Stuart Health is an acute-care hospital licensed for 194 beds. They are a private, not-for-profit community hospital now serving over 100 years. Jennie Stuart Health's primary service area is Christian, Trigg and Todd counties. The secondary service area includes Caldwell, Hopkins and Muhlenberg counties in Kentucky, and Montgomery County in Tennessee. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy utilizes Pioneer and Therigy. Pharmacy is open 8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
- Kentucky Pharmacy Technician Registration REQUIREED
- Valid Driver's License
- Recent work experience in working with pharmacy pre-authorizations/payors
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements:

(PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
