Staff Pharmacist
Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital
Chicago, Illinois
As a PRN, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist,you will fill orders with accuracy; check prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
This position will rotate between Garfield Park, Hartgrove and Riveredge hospital
Pay Range: $70-$72 hr
Schedule: This position will be as needed, and may include some on call when the pharmacy is closed. The position will be mostly weekends with some PTO coverage during the week.
About the Facility: Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital provides acute inpatient and partial hospitalization programs for pediatric children ages 3 to 11 and adolescent children ages 12 to 17. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
Required Qualifications:
- BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Illinois Pharmacist licensure in good standing
- Recent work experience as a Pharmacist (in a behavioral health setting preferred)
- Ability to solve problems, establish trust and credibility.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns, and work cooperatively with other staff.
Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine-Full
