We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable. *Position Summary* Human Trafficking is a significant concern for VA entities (DMAS, Law Enforcement, Child Welfare) and Federal entities.  Human Trafficking causes extensive trauma for survivors and often concomitant mental health and substance use disorders. There are 3 primary functions of this role: a. Function as the Principal subject matter expert for our internal member to provide information, resources, safety planning, and linkages to supports to our members who are survivors of Human Trafficking or at risk of being trafficked b. Build relationships & partnerships with key service providers, agencies, courts and Justice System and other downstream entities in the Human Trafficking space c. Develop and implement a robust Aetna Better Health of Virginia Human Trafficking program (training, workflows, resources) that aligns and works closely with our Justice Involved Member Program. Must be an VA resident. Role will support the improving coordination, support, engagement, and management for Aetna Better Health of Virginia members who are victims of human trafficking. *Major Responsibilities:* * Receive and follow up on all referrals from care management and/or behavioral health teams to engage with members that victims of human trafficking in a timely manner. * Provide trauma-informed comprehensive case management support, referral, and advocacy services for survivors of trafficking to help them feel safe, empowered, and stable. * Ensure acute client needs are met in a timely and culturally appropriate manner. * Assist clients with referrals and access to appropriate resources including shelter, physical and mental health services, and legal services to work toward a stable immigration status. * Collaborate across departments and system of care roles to ensure member needs are met from a behavioral health, physical health, and health related social needs perspective; therefore, ensuring integrated and holistic care. *Community Outreach* * Contribute to the development and implementation of a state-wide outreach plan to increase awareness regarding the needs of Victims of Trafficking services. * Coordinate with leadership regarding outreach plan and travel to sites to meet with potential partners * Develop member and provider/stakeholder informational materials that educate and provide resources for victims of human trafficking *Partnerships and Community Engagement* * Build partnerships with coalition members and providers; work to connect clients to available resources, including various local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. With their assistance, develop safety plans/protocols for clients, staff and the office. * Work alongside coalition to improve regional services available to survivors of trafficking via community outreach, training, and engagement. * Participate in all IRC program meetings, staff development activities, and fully engage as a member of the team. *Documentation and Reporting* * Ensure quality case notes and documentation for contacts made and services provided on behalf of the member and for case file management and quality assurance. * Prepare, distribute and document direct assistance requests for clients. Maintain record of case management expenses in case file. * Draft reports as required by funders and/or donors. * Comply with all policies, procedures and protocols of the agency. * Other related duties as assigned. *Required Qualifications* * Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant work experience in social service, case management, human service or related fields required. * Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills combined with the proven ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and manage time effectively. * Compassion toward and understanding of unique needs of survivors of trafficking. * Knowledge and understanding of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) of October 2000, accompanying regulations, reauthorizations and related policies concerning trafficking strongly preferred. * Excellent organizational and case-file document management skills. * Working knowledge of legal providers, social services, public benefits, community organizations, health care systems, and related human services in the Richmond area preferred. * Must be able to consistently work towards self-sufficiency with all members. * Proven ability to contribute both independently and as a key team member. * Fluency in English required. Fluency in languages spoken by clients, such as Spanish, is preferred. * Valid driver's license and access to a personal, insured vehicle required * Deep understanding of the VA community stakeholders who provide services and supports to survivors of Human Trafficking *Preferred Qualifications* Demonstrated deep understanding, expertise, and work experience with victims of human trafficking.   Experience as an anti-trafficking case manager or resource specialist for youth and adult victims of human trafficking.  Experience in managed care related to behavioral health and/or care management.  Demonstrated experience working and collaborating public and private agencies and building partnerships between human trafficking entities in the state of Virginia. *Education* Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or similar field. Master's Degree, ideally with an emphasis in Social Work, Psychology, or an equivalent field of study. Master of Social Work (MSW) preferred. *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $75,400.00 - $162,700.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
